The Municipality of Anchorage is not able to provide any type of sponsorship, including Student Visas and Employment Visas, under any circumstances.Example of Duties Foster and facilitate good customer service for the Reproductive Health Clinic, professionally triage client appointments and referrals, monitor client flow for client efficiency, utilize good management skills in maintaining records and processing data collection, assist nurse clinicians with clients and perform laboratory duties as needed. Scribe responsibilities include: provide data entry for clinicians in the electronic medical record program during client visits and assist with obtaining electronic consent forms. Provide the full range of office clerical functions including registering and scheduling clients. The Anchorage Health Department (AHD) engages in the State of Alaska Department of Health (DOH) emergency responses and the federal Incident Command System (ICS). This includes training exercises as part of the AHD's Crisis Health Action Team (CHAT) and municipal Emergency Operations Center (EOC). In the case of a natural or manmade disaster AHD's employees may be called to engage in emergency operations responses and recovery.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 18 months of experience in a health and/or social services work environment. Valid State of Alaska Driver's License with satisfactory driving record at time of hire.
