Description:

TDX Holdings is recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer. This is a regular, full-time position located in Anchorage, AK. This position reports to the Board of Directors.

JOB SUMMARY:


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), is the strategic and operational leader of the organization. The CEO is entrusted with advancing the long-term sustainability, profitability, and mission of the corporation while honoring and upholding the values of TDX and its shareholders.

The CEO provides the overall leadership and direction of the company, with the primary goal of maximizing shareholder value. This includes managing corporate finances and risks, attracting and developing talent—including promoting shareholder advancement at all levels in TDX—developing and executing long-term strategies, overseeing employees and daily operations, driving business growth, and making high-level decisions critical to the corporation's future.

The CEO serves as the face of the corporation to its shareholders, the community, government agencies, and business partners. This role is accountable to the Board of Directors for achieving strategic goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a legacy of responsible stewardship for TDX shareholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational risks across subsidiaries and affiliates
  • Lead the organization through evolving economic, political, and social landscapes in Alaska and nationally
  • Develop and execute corporate strategies that support sustainable growth, diversification, and long-term shareholder value
  • Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and direct implementation activities
  • Develop transparent processes and reporting mechanisms around all key operations of the corporation
  • Effectively manage contract negotiations and statutory compliance
  • Represent the corporation at legislative and other governmental sessions and other formal functions
  • Organize and motivate staff to accomplish goals and empower them by providing clarity, direction and purpose through positive, motivational leadership examples
  • Promote the corporation to local, regional, national and international constituencies
  • Work collaboratively with the Board to set strategic priorities and ensure sound governance practices
  • Maintain open, transparent, and timely communication with the Board
  • Provide information necessary for Board decision-making and fiduciary oversight
  • Build and retain a high-performing executive team
  • Promote internal capacity building, especially among qualified shareholders and future leaders
  • Foster an inclusive, culturally aware, and performance-driven workplace culture
  • Prioritize and promote programs that benefit shareholders, including the employment, internships, scholarships, dividends, and cultural initiatives
  • Facilitate meaningful engagement and transparent communication with shareholders
  • Present company report at Annual Shareholder and Board of Director meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum 10 years of business management and executive-level experience
  • Experience leading complex businesses with profit and loss responsibility and strategic oversight
  • In-depth understanding of the Government contracting business. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program to include risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, construction, engineering or a related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Advanced degree (MBA)
  • Strong understanding of ANCSA, Alaska Native, Aleut culture, and the role of Alaska Native corporations of the corporation's cultural mission
  • Demonstrated experience leading growth and diversification through mergers and acquisitions
