SMS Equipment is hiring a Labourer in Anchorage, AK to support shop operations. This role includes handling materials, cleaning equipment, and assisting with general tasks to keep the workspace organized. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location: Anchorage, AK
Shift: 5x2

As a Labourer, you will support the service team by performing general shop duties and assisting with various tasks to keep operations running efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Following all workplace health and safety protocols.
- Moving tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.
- Assisting with mechanical, electrical, and body repairs of heavy equipment.
- Performing general shop clean-up and equipment/parts cleaning.
- Steam cleaning, preparing, and painting components.
- Washing and detailing company vehicles to quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year of industry-related experience.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Experience operating a forklift and wheel loader is an asset.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
