This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Intecon. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Analyst in Alaska (USA) and Colorado (USA).

This high-impact role supports strategic Army missile defense and space operations, with a strong focus on system integration, operational readiness, and CUAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems). As a Senior Systems Analyst, you'll drive mission-critical initiatives aligned with Department of Defense standards while engaging directly with senior military stakeholders and interagency partners. Ideal for a seasoned technical expert, this position offers an opportunity to shape national defense efforts in a fast-paced, high-security environment. Must be comfortable working with classified systems and traveling between key U.S. defense locations.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver advanced technical and systems analysis across missile defense, CUAS, and space-based communication domains.
  • Validate system documentation for compliance with DoD policies and federal directives.
  • Oversee operational readiness assessments and asset tracking for BMDS and Integrated Electronic Security Systems.
  • Coordinate CUAS testing and evaluations with multiple stakeholders, including JCO and USASMDC G34.
  • Support architecture planning for tactical communication networks and GMD (Ground-based Midcourse Defense) systems.
  • Produce technical briefings, reports, and documentation for leadership decision-making.
  • Assist in policy interpretation and recommend systems/process improvements to enhance mission performance.
  • Represent operational interests in interagency and DoD coordination efforts, ensuring unified reporting and readiness across command levels.
  • Contribute to inspections, audits, and staff-assisted visits involving all assigned systems.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in systems analysis, engineering, or operational support in defense settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred.
  • Strong background in BMDS, CUAS, GMD Fire Control, or space systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply DoD doctrine, Title 10, and Joint Publications.
  • Experience with readiness reporting, data collection, and synchronization of RDT&E and acquisition inputs.
  • Familiarity with secure environments and classified documentation processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools used for technical reporting and analysis.
  • Preferred certifications include SMDC Evaluator Training or similar, with training in systems architecture or military comms planning.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with senior military and interagency personnel.
  • Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required.
