Purpose of the Job:

Monitors a variety of maintenance systems to ensure proper operations. Performs routine maintenance to healthcare buildings and equipment, groundskeeping, and provides minor repairs, adjustments, resetting, or troubleshooting of systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Building facilities maintenance background preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver's license required.
• Certified to wear a respirator.
• Customer service-oriented focus.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality, including HIPAA/HITECH information.
• Certified for airport driving within the first three months of employment.
• First Aid/CPR certification within the first six months of employment.
• Obtain or possess current State of Alaska Provisional/Level 1 water treatment certification within one year of hire.
• Possess or complete Class III Boiler licensure within the first year of employment.
• Complete ICS 100 and 200 within 90 days of hire.
