Ensure the safety of all persons utilizing Municipal pools/lakes and provide supervision; communicates information to co-workers, immediate supervisor and public. Provide a wide variety of water safety instruction to children and adults. Responsibilities include performing facility, grounds security and maintenance; performing rescues, assists, first aid, CPR, and functions of Emergency Action/ Management Plan. Maintain swimming pool water quality standards and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences Must possess the following valid certifications to apply:American Red Cross or equivalent Lifeguard Training at time of hire. American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid Certification at time of hire.
