Description:

General Description: The Construction Supervisor is responsible for planning (FEL2+) and executing discrete construction campaigns for one or more projects. Based in Anchorage during the planning phase, the role provides constructability input to design, reviews and accepts contractor work packs, leads pre-mobilization readiness, and ensures all materials and equipment are available for the campaign. During execution, the supervisor mobilizes to the field to oversee contractor work, champions HSE&Q standards, manages interfaces with Operations, and ensures timely support from the office.Primary FunctionsGeneralSupport Incident-Free Culture (IFC) principles through active involvement and workshops.Promote Human Performance principles and foster a learning organization by learning from field employees.Ensure all documentation and communication comply with COPA DRM policies.Utilize CPMS AK standards and practices appropriate to project size and risk.Construction ManagementDrive construction planning and readiness, preparing contractors for mobilization with work packs, logistics, fabrication, camps, and equipment.Support contract call-offs and scope of work preparations aligned with contract strategies.Implement and evaluate HSE & Quality systems, adjusting as needed to meet standards.Monitor cost and schedule progress, identify issues early, and influence mitigation plans.Lead effective communication and collaboration with the field team and contractors to maintain morale and productivity.Manage relationships with contractors, focusing on project managers and superintendents.Coordinate office support and supply chain activities related to construction materials and logistics.Oversee construction completion and handover processes.Provide performance feedback through the PIT.Required Skills and ExperienceExperience with construction industry standards and methodologies.Experience with oil and gas facilities.Knowledge of detailed engineering and construction management.Understanding of cost reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Leadership and CompetenciesAccountabilityPerformance DriveDecision MakingCollaborative PartnershipEffective CommunicationWith over 90 years of combined experience, NES Fircroft is a leading engineering staffing provider worldwide, supporting sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, and more.
