The (Overnight/ AM) News Producer produces the Morning Edition newscast Monday through Friday and is responsible overseeing all aspects of the newscast/s including: stacking the rundown, writing copy for stories, creating graphics to fit stories, coordinating live shots with technical directors, and working with anchors, meteorologists, reporters & photographers, as needed, to ensure an urgent, accurate and dynamic morning newscast. The shift for this position is 12:00 a.m.- 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Duties/ Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following: - Prioritizes, organizes, supervises, and produces newscasts following the station brand and goals - Responsible for writing clearly, concisely, and very conversationally - Must maintain working knowledge of current events, community issues, and contacts - Must come to morning/afternoon meetings with enterprise story ideas each day - Accurate video editing with an eye for visual elements and graphics that ...News Producer, Producer, News, Overnight, Business Services, Produce
