Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, assist in the preparation and serving planned meals for Mc. Kinnell House, Cares for Kids and the OAP nutrition services to ensure palatable, safe, and attractive meals for all consumers. Assist in the maintenance of the kitchen, equipment, and dining area in a clean, sanitary, and presentable manner to assure compliance with standard food safety and sanitation procedures and all applicable food service codes. Assist in the storage and inventory control of food and supplies. Minimum Qualifications: GED or High School diploma and at least 1 year experience working in a food service setting. Ability to follow directions and work with others. Current food handler's card or the willingness and ability to obtain a food handler's card within 30 days of placement.
