The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for a Maintenance Specialist, Building/ Facility/ Construction, Journey 1, for the Anchorage Correctional Center (ACC), located in Anchorage, Alaska. What You Will Be Doing:This position supports the Anchorage Correctional Complex by performing skilled maintenance and repair work on plumbing, HVAC, boilers, gas-fired equipment, and security systems under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman. Responsibilities also include electrical and mechanical repairs, surface preparation, painting, and maintaining facility infrastructure with minimal supervision.
