Under general direction oversee and coordinate a wide range of professional human resource activities to multiple departments. Advise department administration/management on labor relations and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and Personnel Rules. Provide analytical support on the management team during collective bargaining negotiations. Perform fact finding and conduct internal investigations and prepare reports of findings; recommends and or administers disciplinary actions to represented and non-represented employees. Provide proper resolution of complaints and or grievances and appropriate corrective actions. Application of federal, state and municipal laws, codes, policies and procedures. Write policies, procedures, letters, memorandums, grievance responses and settlements. Develop and/or present human resources training for Municipality of Anchorage staff and employees.
