We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most—and helps make our mission to improve lives a reality for patients every day. Your responsibilities will include:Providing care for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, and assisting with movement, to keep patients comfortable and supportedChecking vital signs, collecting specimens, and sharing updates with the nursing team to support timely, informed care Maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked patient rooms by following infection prevention standards and keeping the environment organizedPreparing patients for procedures and responding promptly to call lights and patient needsCaring for patients like family by communicating clearly, showing empathy, and guiding them and their families throughout every step of their care What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateNo Travel RequiredNo experience Required Years of Experience HCA Healthcare's Alaska Regional Hospital is known for our expertise, compassion and skills.
