Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist - Construction

Location: Anchorage, AK

Pay: $22 - $28 per hour

COMPANY INFO: Opti Staffing Group partners with a well-established construction company in Anchorage seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a construction and oilfield background who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOULL DO: You will manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function, working closely with the HR Manager, owner, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing AP and Payroll, handling cost accounting, AR, and financial auditing, organizing financial records, and navigating QuickBooks Desktop for vendor management and reconciliation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Online experience is insufficient)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to clean up and restructure financial processes
• Drug-free status (DOT random drug testing required)
