Assist municipal customers with using information technology, troubleshoot, evaluate, and resolve network data cabling/connectivity and desktop hardware/software/network problems; utilize specialized test equipment and software tools for troubleshooting. Assist with new hardware, software, data network installations or moves/adds/changes. Perform computer operations and systems administration functions on various municipal computing platforms. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and six (6) years of technical/professional MIS experience, working with clients on the resolution of computer problems and/or the configuration of hardware, software, and network facilities, one (1) year of which must be equivalent to Information Center Consultant I with the Municipality, or equivalent elsewhere.
