Under the general direction of the Employment Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for multiple onboarding duties and data entry tasks to ensure the timely hiring of selected applicants, as well as the timely creation and posting of position vacancy announcements. Daily duties consist of, but are not limited to, preparing and posting position vacancy announcements, screening and analyzing applications and referring qualified applicants to the department's hiring team, making employment offers, request union dispatches, sending onboarding documents to candidates, data entry and filing of completed employee packets, submitting referrals for required pre-hire screenings, scheduling pre-hire testing, complete DOT packets for compliance, occasionally assist during new hire orientation presentations, and complete other onboarding process requirements as needed.
