The Nutrition, Transportation, and Support (NTS) Specialist delivers program services to clients of the Older Alaskans Program. These services include home delivered meals or to the congregant meal sites. All NTS Specialists are expected to function in each of these areas although they may be given a primary assignment. The Lead Driver oversees all personal and vehicle-related daily operations and assists the Program Manager. Must report daily all relevant information to the lead driver/ Program manager and be willing to be flexible as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Daily Meal Delivery A. Review meal delivery schedule to identify changes (additions/deletions). Update route schedule based on verified changes. B. Verify meal count, pack meal items using proper containers and ice packs to assure temperature control of 40 degrees or less throughout meal delivery. C. Deliver only and exclusive meals, side dishes, and newspaper to clients along the route. D.
