Eklutna Construction & Maintenance, LLC (ECM) is a small business and is a 100% minority-owned enterprise, certified under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. ECM is primarily a federal government contractor with current and upcoming design-build and multi-year JOC type contracts on multiple military bases around Alaska.

ECM is seeking to fill a Construction Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager position. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of DOD/USACE construction and have completed USACE-QCM for Contractors. However, ECM is willing to train motivated candidates. Qualifications include a graduate engineer degree or a BS in construction management with at least two (2) years of commercial construction experience. Longer experience may substitute for the degree.

Required certifications include OSHA 30 Construction, HAZCOM Train the Trainer, Lead Awareness Certified, First Aid, and CPR. Additional certifications like P.E., LEED, PMP are a plus. Experience with collaborative project delivery methods (e.g., CM/GC, Design/Build) and a history of cooperation with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors are preferred.
