SYSTEMS TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (Sr Systems Analyst) - Range 17 / NON

This is a non-represented position (no union affiliation) and is subject to the provisions of the Personnel Rules of the Municipality of Anchorage.

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

LOCATION: City Hall - 632 W 6th Ave, 4th Floor

**Starting pay does not exceed the midpoint of the displayed pay range.**

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and nine years of experience in the field.
- OR Associates degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar, and seven years of experience.
- OR Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar, and five years of experience.
- OR Masters degree in a related field may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Satisfactory background check (criminal, education, employment).
- Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL databases, AzureAD, Microsoft O365, Network Appliance (NetApp), VMware vSphere and Horizon, F5 BigIP, Gigamon, VastData, and AD Manager Plus.

PREFERENCES:
- Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE).
- NetApp Certified Storage Associate or higher.
- VMware VCA-DCV or higher.
