DEPARTMENT: Anchorage Fire Department
HOURS OF WORK: Monday through Friday; 7:30am-4:30pm (or alternative schedule as approved by management).
LOCATION OF WORK: 1301 E 80th Ave Anchorage, AK 99518
Salary: Starting pay does not exceed the midpoint of the displayed pay range.

Job Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, directs, and manages the activities of the Anchorage Fire Department (AFD) Information Systems Division. Coordinates with sections within AFD to assess current system functionality and plan IT resource requirements. Assigns projects to subordinates and monitors all stages of support development, implementation, and operation to ensure accuracy, utility, and timeliness. Collaborates with the Municipality of Anchorage Office of Information and Technology (MOA OIT) to ensure AFD systems are compatible and compliant with MOA IT systems. Serves as contract administrator of vendor activity and personnel, as required. Other related duties as assigned.
