Job Details

The position will maintain the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) park land and sports facilities, outdoor recreation facilities, trails and municipality owned grounds. Routine maintenance to a specific project or specialized area of responsibility at one park or recreational facility at several parks or areas. Winter duties may include but are not limited to litter collection; snow & ice removal; outdoor recreational ice maintenance; trail grooming and maintenance; special event preparation and support; and general grounds and facility cleaning and repair. Summer duties may include, but are not limited to turf and irrigation maintenance; litter collection; athletic and multi-use field maintenance; trail maintenance; park fence and barrier repairs; park shelters, amenities and equipment cleaning and repair; special event preparation and support and general grounds and facility care.
