Unlock your potential!Job Summary And QualificationsAs the Registration Lead, you will be responsible for providing feedback on daily registration processes and staffing issues to the Patient Access Manager. You will need to have qualities for detail and accuracy in this role. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:You will provide assistance to staff level employees as necessary to insure compliance with department policies and procedures.You will assist the supervisor with staffing, report reconciliation, QA process, backup for patient registration/verification as needed and other duties as assigned.You will calculate and collect patient liable amounts, ensuring that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments.You will process patient charts according to paperwork flow needs and established productivity standards.You will interview incoming patients, his/her relatives, or other responsible individuals to obtain identifying and biographical information with insurance and financial information.What qualifications you will need:Prefer three years of previous registration experience.Knowledge of Medical Terminology.Knowledge of Anatomy.Effective Communication and Computer Skills.HCA Healthcare's Alaska Regional Hospital is known for our expertise, compassion and skills.
