Currently, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead a high-performing team of field-based Sales Professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for setting strategy, driving revenue, and mentoring talent in a fast-paced, business-to-business environment. This is a high-impact leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a "hunter" culture, excels at people development, and has a track record of building scalable, predictable success.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of success selling merchant services, fintech solutions, or business management platforms to SMB clients
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving market share growth
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Hands-on field sales experience and a willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Proficiency in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage a team of field-based Sales Professionals focused on acquiring new SMB clients and expanding add-on revenue
  • Assign territories, set sales targets, and monitor performance in alignment with business goals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that maximize territory coverage, drive pipeline growth, and increase client acquisition
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and actionable feedback to elevate team performance and ensure consistent execution
  • Actively participate in the sales cycle alongside team members-helping to remove roadblocks, close high-value deals, and ensure client success
  • Analyze key sales metrics and maintain data accuracy in CRM systems to support performance reporting, forecasting, and strategy adjustments
  • Serve as a voice of leadership within the organization by sharing market insights, best practices, and emerging trends
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture that aligns with company values
