As the Safety Specialist, youll work closely with the Human Resources department to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols across multiple program sites. Your role will directly impact the well-being of youth, staff, and volunteers by: Conducting regular safety inspections of facilities and program areas Collaborating with HR on employee safety training, onboarding, and compliance Creating and updating safety policies, procedures, and training materials Coordinating emergency preparedness drills and incident response plans Ensuring compliance with OSHA, state, and local safety regulations Supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement organization-wide REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience in safety, risk management, or a related field Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices Experience working in youth programs, schools, or nonprofits preferred Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with HR and program leadership Excellent communication ...Safety Specialist, Specialist, HR, Program Leader, Youth Development, Safety, Manufacturing, Staffing
