Learning and Development Training Specialist Learning and Development Training Specialist I, IIOutline of Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions to Include but Not Limited to:Customer Care and Relationships:Creates, develops, and nurtures culturally appropriate interactions with each other, customer-owners, and the community.Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with community representatives, customers, board members, etc., to foster favorable perceptions of SCF.Communications and Teamwork:Shares and receives information, opinions, concerns, and feedback supportively.Builds rapport and collaborates effectively across departments and teams.Leads and supports SCF committees and work teams, ensuring learning and development programs meet organizational needs.Works closely with the Learning and Development Team and Director.Provides support such as room setup, shadowing, and course coverage, ensuring learning needs are met.Improvement and Innovation:Enhances services, programs, and processes to create value for customer-owners and employees.Conducts workforce development initiatives, delivering diverse learning programs.Contributes to annual training needs assessments and scheduling.Develops, reviews, and updates training curricula to align with organizational strategies and priorities.Evaluates program effectiveness, recommends improvements, and ensures proper documentation and reporting.Workforce Development Skills and Abilities:Seeks ongoing learning opportunities.Follows through on commitments and applies relevant privacy laws.Utilizes office and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Demonstrates trainer and curriculum development skills.Organizes projects and training activities efficiently.Works independently, makes decisions, and plans strategically for future needs.Qualifications:Master's degree in training, education, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.Two years of experience in training, education, or HR.ATD Master Certificate or ability to obtain within one year.Additional for Level II:Three years of L&D experience and demonstrated competency.Physical Demands and Travel:Moderate noise; travel within Alaska required, including remote areas.Physical and Other Demands:Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, work in various physical conditions, and respond to needs outside regular hours.Population Served & Native Preference:Serves Alaska Native populations; understanding of their cultures is essential.Policy of Native preference in hiring and contracting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
