Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Presales/Solution Architect with proven expertise in the Insurance sector (a must) and experience in the broader Finance industry (a strong plus). The ideal candidate will bring hands-on industry knowledge, including operational processes, pain points, and customer-facing service needs. This individual should possess technical experience in digital transformation, automation, and process optimization using modern platforms, software development tools, and best practices. Experience in designing and implementing programs involving Software Factory, Staff Augmentation, and Service Desk is highly desirable. A solid understanding of how these practices can evolve to meet the industry's future is essential. Expertise in applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to address industry-specific challenges will be considered a super plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams and account executives to understand client requirements and strategic objectives acrossInsurance(carriers, brokers, MGAs, Insurtech) andFinancesectors (banking, wealth management, fintech).
  • Engage with stakeholders to assess operational pain points, regulatory constraints, and digital maturity, translating these into actionable solution blueprints that drive measurable business value.
  • Design and presentcustomized, outcome-driven solutionsleveraging ourIT Managed Services, including Software Factory, Staff Augmentation, and Service Desk, with an emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Lead and facilitatediscovery sessions, workshops, and executive-level briefings, drawing from industry-specific knowledge and real-world case studies to validate business alignment.
  • Serve as atrusted advisorby connecting client pain points with relevant technologies, platforms, and services, proactively identifying opportunities for digital transformation and operational optimization.
  • Contribute to thedefinition of roadmaps and solution strategies, helping clients build progressive steps toward modernization and competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align not only with technical requirements but also withcompliance needs, customer experience expectations, and long-term transformation goals.

Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge ofSoftware Factory processes, including Agile/DevOps methodologies, custom software development, application modernization, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, to propose scalable and future-ready solutions tailored to the evolving demands of the Insurance and Finance sectors.
  • Understand and evaluate client challenges and opportunities forprocess automation and digital transformation, recommending appropriate tools, development frameworks, and modernization strategies aligned to specific industry workflows.
  • Provide strategic insights and operational models forStaff Augmentationprograms that go beyond resource fulfillment—focusing on business agility, cross-functional team composition, knowledge transfer, and long-term capability building to support client goals.
  • Demonstrate a modern understanding ofService Desk transformation, including ITIL-based practices, omnichannel support, AI-enhanced incident management, and customer experience optimization, with a clear perspective on how support operations can evolve to become business enablers in insurance and financial service delivery.
  • Possess a strong grasp ofSaaS-based architectures, including multi-tenant systems, API-first design, microservices, and low-code/no-code platforms, to advise clients on modernization paths, integration strategies, and cloud-native application development.
  • Apply practical experience inenterprise and solution architectureto guide the design of robust, scalable, and secure digital platforms, ensuring interoperability, performance, and regulatory compliance in alignment with industry-specific requirements.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends such asMachine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and actively identify areas where these technologies can create measurable impact—such as underwriting automation, claims triage, fraud detection, and customer experience personalization.

Proposal Development & Presentations:

  • Develop compelling and tailoredproposals, RFPs, RFIs, and executive presentations that clearly articulate the business value, technical feasibility, and strategic differentiation of our solutions for clients in the vertical industry.
  • Create and deliverproof-of-concepts (PoCs), demos, prototypes, and detailed technical documentation to validate solution viability and address specific business challenges.
  • Articulate clearROI models, total cost of ownership (TCO) comparisons, compliance alignment (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS), andrisk mitigation strategies, reinforcing how the solution supports business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, delivery, product) to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Utilizecompetitive analysis and industry benchmarksto position our offerings effectively and differentiate against market alternatives.
  • Applystorytelling techniques supported by data and visualsto communicate complex value propositions in a simple, persuasive, and impactful manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tailor content and messaging based on thebuyer persona(e.g., CIO, COO, Claims Director, Underwriting Head), ensuring that each stakeholder's unique concerns and decision criteria are addressed.

Market & Industry Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of theInsurance industry's operational models, regulatory frameworks, digital trends, and innovation drivers—including evolving customer expectations, cost pressures, and ecosystem modernization.
  • Track key developments in the broaderFinance industry, with a focus on areas that intersect with Insurance, such as embedded finance, digital payments, fraud prevention, and data-driven personalization.
  • Identify and anticipate client needs by analyzingindustry-specific pain points, including legacy system bottlenecks, claims and policy lifecycle inefficiencies, regulatory reporting, and service experience gaps.
  • Proactively uncoveropportunities to position our services and technologies—such as AI-driven automation, low-code application platforms, advanced analytics, and hybrid cloud environments—as enablers of transformation, resilience, and scalability.
  • Contribute tovertical-specific go-to-market strategiesby sharing field insights, participating in industry forums, and shaping offerings that align with market shifts (e.g., AI adoption, sustainability mandates, or risk-adjusted pricing models).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with delivery teams, project managers, and product managers to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with delivery capabilities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Support post-sales handoff to ensure smooth transition to implementation teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or CompTIA Security+) is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of presales or solution architect experience in the Finance and Insurance sectors (carriers, brokers, MGAs, or Insurtech firms).
  • Understanding SaaS architecture, APIs, and cloud-based technologies, along with familiarity with specific tools and platforms relevant to finance and insurance industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong background indigital transformation initiatives, automation, andprocess optimizationusing modern tools, platforms, and development methodologies.
  • Experience withSoftware Factory concepts(e.g., Agile/DevOps, application modernization, CI/CD pipelines) and ability to lead or support these initiatives within enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their applications in Finance and Insurance.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and security frameworks relevant to Finance and Insurance (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC, GDPR) and Familiarity with relevant insurance and/or financial software platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, ALIP, Instanda, Salesforce, Core Banking solutions)
  • Proficiency inSaaS architectures, microservices, APIs, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern integration approaches.
  • Working knowledge ofenterprise application platformscommonly used in the insurance and financial sectors.
  • Understanding of howArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learningare applied in Insurance and Finance—such as intelligent claims processing, fraud detection, underwriting automation, and customer behavior modeling.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client-specific challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, IoT, or blockchain in Finance and Insurance applications.
  • Established network of contacts within the Finance and Insurance industries.
