The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, is recruiting for a Grant Administrator 2 in Anchorage.
What You Will Be Doing:
Research, develop, and write federal grant applications; develop and write grant solicitation documents; solicit grant applicants through an open, competitive process; receive grant applications, score applications, rank applications, and approve funding for successful grantees.
Prepare final grant documents that include terms, conditions, scope of work, and payment terms. Finalize approved grant forms and set up required funding structure requests. Track and monitor program budgets and funding.
Evaluate the adequacy and accuracy of financial reports, payment requests, and accompanying documentation submitted by grantees; create federal billings and compare financial information and related documentation contained in the reports with the scope of grant awards to determine appropriateness of expenditures. Prepare required reports and financial draws to satisfy various federal and state requirements.
Provide verbal and written direction to grantees for interpreting statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures governing grants; respond to questions concerning grants from grantees, private citizens, local government agencies, and other community entities.
Analyze existing policies and procedures and recommend technical improvements to program delivery. Draft new or revised policies, procedures, forms, and other documents used in grant activities. Conduct research, write memorandums and reports for program redesign, and develop presentations.
