Working as a Guest Services Representative at Imaging Associates is a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of healthcare as we provide best-in-class radiology support for primary care, ENT, Ortho, Neuro etc! Those serving in this position will be working with our radiologists, referring physician offices, and our radiology technologists to schedule subspecialized radiology exams on the most modern MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, PETCT and Fluoroscopy modalities in the state of Alaska!

Within a short time your knowledge of healthcare will increase exponentially serving as a great opportunity for career advancement into Imaging Associates management, radiology technologist, Nurse, Physician Assistant or a springboard into premedical school!

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position and requires rotations to both our Anchorage location and Eagle River location. This position offers an opportunity to work 8-hour or 10-hour shifts to provide a balance of work and personal life. This position will perform patient scheduling and registration tasks including collecting co-pays and deductibles at time of service, and handling incoming calls for the practice.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience in a specialty medical practice preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with medical pre-authorizations preferred.
• Experience with multi-line telephone system, personal computers, and other common office equipment required.
• Rotations to our Anchorage and Eagle River locations, and regular attendance are absolute requirements of this position.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
