Join to apply for the Structural Engineering Project Manager role at DCI Engineers .DCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20+ offices spanning the United States, has an opportunity for a full-time Structural Engineering Project Manager in its Anchorage office.Responsibilities of a Structural Project ManagerDevelop, coordinate, and direct production of engineering project documentsPrepare fee proposals and contractsDevelop workload and scheduling projections for project staffOversee and perform calculations, design, and analysis of applicable elements for projectsCollaborate with the engineering and drafting teams to coordinate design details and construction document requirementsOversee/perform construction observations and write reportsReview shop drawings during constructionEvaluate additional service requests, review billing, and coordinate permit responses and construction support servicesDevelop a client baseRequirements for a Structural Project Manager5-10 years of structural design engineering experienceCivil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university and PE license requiredExperience designing and managing projects using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design materialsPrevious work experience includes building evaluations, renovations, and seismic retrofitsSkilled at designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systems for various building and material typesAbility to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyAbility to lead and train junior engineers and coordinate with BIM DesignersDesire to build strong client relationships and provide excellent serviceAbility to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders – clients, and design and construction teamsMaster's degree and SE license preferredAt DCI Engineers , you are sure to find your adventure with a great group of people and a lifestyle you crave.
