Lead interface definition, collaborate across functional and agile teams, and ensure traceability of requirements into verification artifacts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead the requirements engineering process, including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management of requirements.Maintain traceability of all requirements through the Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM).Facilitate working groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and agile ceremonies to refine functional and non-functional requirements.Participate in system interface definition and architectural alignment in collaboration with vendors and Government stakeholders.Analyze impacts of requirement changes and assist with scope and impact analyses during sprint planning and backlog grooming.Coordinate with test engineers to ensure requirements are testable and adequately covered by validation procedures.Support integration activities across Government, vendor, and legacy systems to identify dependencies and verify interoperability.Ensure requirements documentation supports RMF security controls and information assurance requirements.Contribute to technical reports and other contract deliverables.Maintain regular and punctual attendance.Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone.Job RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.Five plus (5+) years of experience in systems engineering with focus on DoD, Navy, or large-scale enterprise systems.Demonstrated experience defining and managing system and software requirements across the SDLC.Experience supporting agile software delivery teams in SCRUM or SAFe environments.Advanced expertise in systems engineering practices, particularly in defining, managing, and tracing system and software requirements across a highly integrated development and operational support lifecycle required.Familiarity with RMF (DoDI 8510.01) and DevSecOps.Strong understanding of RMF, DevSecOps, Agile practices (SCRUM), Navy-specific systems, and multi-vendor collaborationStrong understanding of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, CAMEO, Jira/Confluence).Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance (generally, this requires U.S. Citizenship).Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSExcellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to convey technical content to diverse audiences.Familiarity with modeling languages such as SysML.Knowledge of RAISE 2.0 and Navy application interoperability frameworks.Certification in Systems Engineering (INCOSE CSEP or equivalent).Experience collaborating with QA, CM, and cybersecurity teams in Government delivery environments.WORK SCHEDULEFull-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.TRAVELThe expected travel time is less than 25%.DRIVING REQUIREMENTSMust have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.PHYSICAL DEMANDSPosition consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds.
