Job DescriptionSOL Engineering Services, LLC is an engineering and technical services provider with over 19 years of experience. Our team of approximately 100 engineers, scientists, technical subject matter experts, and project managers delivers high-quality, responsive engineering and technical services across the United States.We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with expertise in FEMA Public Assistance programs to join our disaster recovery team. This position involves providing technical guidance, project management, and support to communities recovering from disasters such as hurricanes and floods. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to rebuilding critical infrastructure and public facilities.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.At least 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, focusing on infrastructure design, construction, or maintenance.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Must have Public Assistance (PA) experience of 1 or more years at regional, state, or local levels.U.S. citizenship and ability to pass an FBI background check.Clean driving record and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.Current valid driver's license.Ability to mobilize within 24-48 hours and commit to a minimum 90-day deployment in remote locations and disaster conditions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills including document editing, file management, and web applications.Preferred Skills:Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.Experience in FEMA Public Assistance programs such as Site Inspection, Program Delivery, Public Assistance Coordination, Debris Management, or Hazard Mitigation.Completed FEMA training courses related to public assistance operations and debris management.Veterans and HUBZone small businesses are encouraged to apply.
