State of Alaskas Department of Revenueis seeking an innovative leader to lead the Tax Division. As Director, you will be responsible for departmental oversight of collection of oil and gas severance taxes, corporate income taxes, fisheries business taxes, and a variety of excise taxes. You will lead the agencys 100-person division, made up of tax, audit, economic research, administrative, and IT professionals. The Tax Director is a partially exempt position that reports directly to the Commissioner of the Department of Revenue and the post of duty is in the Atwood building in Anchorage, Alaska. The Director formulates rules, regulations, policies, and program recommendations for the division. This position is also responsible for exercising internal control over the expenditure of state program funds.
