Summary of Job Description:

The Decentralized Learning Specialist (DLS) is a field-based position providing direct support to restaurant training efforts within a specific market as part of the Regional Business Unit support team. The DLS is responsible for executing training standards for the non-traditional concept in their restaurants and supporting wider training initiatives in partnership with Regional Business Unit Leaders. This role serves as both an ambassador for the culture of the Non-Traditional Concept and an expert in training and development.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Support and impact the business through Crew Training, Manager Training, and Internal Development. Responsible for strategy and execution of certifications for Non-Traditional concept restaurants.
  • Ensure the execution of training standards through high-level restaurant engagement and performance analysis.
  • Facilitate training classes, including ServSafe and Train the Trainer sessions for new and updated initiatives.
  • Support New Restaurant Opening (NRO) training in coordination with the Regional Leader of Growth.
  • Lead and validate the execution of Advanced Crew & Management training programs.
  • Conduct restaurant visits to evaluate training effectiveness, identify support needs, and provide feedback on performance.
  • Lead training projects for non-traditional concepts to support company initiatives and provide regular performance updates.

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent operations management experience required.
  • Minimum five years of hospitality leadership experience; multi-unit training experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Completion of initial and periodic training required.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.

Pay Range: $72,500 - $101,500 annually.

*Pay is determined based on location and experience within the range.
