STG Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer to support construction delivery across rural Alaska.

Based out of Anchorage, this hands-on role is ideal for a motivated team player who thrives in-person, values craftsmanship, and enjoys solving logistical and technical challenges in extreme environments. You'll help manage a wide range of high-impact infrastructure projects—from wind energy systems to bulk fuel upgrades—supporting remote communities across the state.


Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000–$110,000 DOE

Additional leave and optional supplemental coverages are also available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate, bid, and develop construction proposals
  • Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
  • Support project management and execution at remote field sites
  • Oversee safety, documentation, and reporting for each phase of the project
  • Communicate with crews and stakeholders to maintain technical accuracy
  • Assist with project closeout and information retention
  • Perform field labor and travel to job sites as needed (overnight stays required)


What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of engineering or construction-related experience
  • Microsoft Office and project management software skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background, drug, and driving checks


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with remote logistics in Alaska
  • Experience with HeavyBid or similar construction software
