What We're Looking For
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Assistant Brewer to join our R&D brewing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves small-batch experimentation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about the art and science of brewing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing all brewing operations: milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, whirlpooling, and fermentation
  • Support experimental beer development and pilot batch execution
  • Monitor and record fermentation data, complete cellaring duties, and assist with dry hopping, clarification, and carbonation
  • Maintain an immaculately clean and sanitary brewing and cellaring environment
  • Perform QA/QC checks and contribute to sensory panels to ensure consistent, high-quality output
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Brewer and R&D team on recipe development and process refinement
  • Help maintain brewing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and manage raw material inventory
  • Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and assist in packaging as needed
  • Involved in Draught Beer System Maintenance, like line cleaning, and troubleshooting a problem that a manager may report.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of professional brewing experience required (R&D or pilot brewing a plus)
  • Deep understanding of brewing principles and fermentation science
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort troubleshooting systems and equipment
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and move full kegs (165 lbs)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a relentless commitment to quality
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative, ever-evolving environment
