NWS Professional Assembly is seeking full-time candidates for the position of Assembly Technician. As an Assembly Technician with NWS, you will work on-site at our retail clients, such as Home Depot and Lowes, assembling various products and displays. Products include barbeque grills, wheelbarrows, toolboxes, patio furniture, lawn/garden equipment, and seasonal items.

At NWS, you're rewarded for your performance through our piecework pay model, allowing you to earn up to $30 per hour depending on your productivity. As you learn the products and develop good habits and techniques, your speed and pay will increase.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality assembly and repair of products, following manufacturer instructions and retailer guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Coordinate with Retailer management to confirm build lists and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate effectively with the Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace, leaving clients with a tidy build area.
• Perform other duties as outlined in the employee handbook.

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, mechanical aptitude.
• A smartphone and email address.
• Internet access via mobile device.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, twist, and lift 40+ pounds repeatedly.
• Experience is a plus, but training is provided.
