Job Description

SUMMARY

Support the development, and delivery of Interactive Multi-Media Instruction (IMI) and Computer Based Training (CBT). Products include training media in multi-media, virtual, game-based, and distributive training environments. Establishes various media to ensure interactive, efficient, and cost-effective learning content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Computer Based Training Specialist (CBTS)/Subject Matter Experts (SME), Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), and other Multi-Media Production Specialist (MMPSs) in collecting and cataloging photos and graphics related to training task activities for IMI and CBT.
  • Re-engineer classroom-style training content to modern delivery methods. Capture Performance Learning Objectives (LO) and job sheets of selected courses through existing schoolhouse content. Identify and fill gaps through interviews/observations of instructor-provided Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs).
  • Establish various media to ensure interactive, efficient, and cost-effective learning content.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in multi-media, graphic design, instructional design or equivalent.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in creating and modifying graphics and animations.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products—specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Animate.
  • Capable of rendering cutting-edge 2D- and 3D-based graphics and animations.
  • Knowledge of 3D-Studio Max or Maya.
  • Applicable knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and PHP scripting.
  • Ability to operate within the parameters of a Learning Management System (LMS) and understand web based SCORM parameters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (potentially up to a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance) and a Common Assess Card (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Knowledge of military training or defense industry standards.
  • Experience working with Navy/DoD.
  • Ability to create and adapt to the visual intent of a larger project and have a critical eye.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, regularly recommending and communicating solutions to non-multimedia trained personnel.
  • Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a deadline and budget-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, flexible.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving.The expected driving time is less than 25%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a hybrid setting. Employee will work remotely and, in an office setting in Pensacola, FL. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

  • Pay range: $79,268.80 per year.
