The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel (formerly Millennium Hotel) is seeking a full-time Security Agent to join our team. Located on the shores of Lake Spenard, just one mile from Anchorage International Airport and four miles from downtown Anchorage, our hotel offers 248 rooms and three food and beverage outlets, providing a memorable experience for our guests.

Role Overview

The Security Agent is responsible for performing protective and enforcement functions in a courteous and restrained manner. This includes responding to emergencies, managing undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Typical Duties:

1. Conduct patrols of the entire facility to ensure a safe environment for guests, visitors, employees, and patrons.
2. Write incident and accident reports.
3. Participate in security investigations as required by management.
4. Process lost items reported by guests, employees, and visitors.
5. Maintain order within the hotel, assist with door lock issues, and coordinate responses to emergencies such as fires or safety hazards.
6. Handle violations of hotel policy, civil laws, and undesired conduct to ensure safety.
7. Monitor and memorize the building's life safety systems, including alarms, fire extinguishers, and sprinklers.
8. Escort guests and employees to parking areas as needed, including those carrying valuables.

• Professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or sit for the duration of the shift.
• Previous security experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
