The Transmission Operations Engineer will be responsible for the technical operation of Spectrum Regional Sports Networks transmission systems, event backhauls and coordination. Individuals in this role will be required to perform all maintenance, setup and operation of the transmission facility in accordance with Spectrum Networks technical standards as well as the technical limits as defined by EIA RS-170A/ SMPTE 274M/SMPTE 292M guidelines and FCC guidelines.

Ability to operate, maintain and repair RF satellite transmission, signal distribution and signal evaluation equipment.

Operate within a 24/7/365 network/transmissions operations center.
Formal Education & Certification:
College diploma or university degree in the field of Electronics or IT Engineering/Technologies or equivalent work experience.
3+ years experience in broadcast facility operations.

Travel depending on project needs.
