Learning and Development Training Specialist I:
Hiring Range: $61,464.00 to $81,952.00
Pay Range: $61,464.00 to $92,206.40
Learning and Development Training Specialist II:
Hiring Range: $65,769.60 to $87,692.80
Pay Range: $65,769.60 to $98,654.40
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Learning and Development Training Specialist is responsible for assessing needs, researching, developing, implementing, maintaining, coordinating, communicating, improving, and evaluating comprehensive learning and development initiatives to enhance SCF's workforce performance, development, and readiness.
This position has two levels, offering progressively more responsibilities. Advancement depends on demonstrated ability to handle more complex tasks.
SCF primarily serves Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Native and American Indian populations within its service area. Candidates should understand the cultures and needs of these populations to support SCF's vision of wellness and its mission of collaborative health and related services:
Additional qualifications for Level II include three years in Learning and Development and demonstrated competency at Level I.
SCF practices Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. Certification must be obtained before applicants receive preference.
Compliance with Employee Health Procedures is required, including immunizations for jobs designated as Health Care Personnel, such as MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19.
