Job Overview

The Airside Experience Specialist is responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to safely providing requested services for general aviation aircraft, crew, and other guests. This role involves operating ground service equipment and applying knowledge of company policies to deliver efficient and exceptional service at the private aviation terminal (PAT). The position requires flexibility to work night, holiday, and weekend shifts, often in varying weather and environmental conditions, including near stationary and moving aircraft, with exposure to noise, fumes, and dust.

Responsibilities

• Conduct airside operations safely and efficiently, following established policies and SOPs, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate with team members, guests, vendors, and aircraft crew to meet service needs such as fueling, de-icing, lavatory services, ground power, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and towing.
• Prepare for aircraft arrivals/departures, identify open tasks, and report safety concerns promptly.
• Operate ground service equipment including fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks.
• Load and unload luggage and cargo, and provide courteous transportation services.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Handle fuel with quality control, inventory, and documentation responsibilities.
• Adhere to all safety, operational, and security protocols, stopping work if unsafe conditions are identified.
• Create accurate records of activities and services performed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain necessary airport security badges.
• Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction.
• Excellent vision, coordination, and the ability to pass a color vision test.
• Valid driver's license; a CDL may be required depending on location.
• Good judgment and ability to follow instructions.
• Preferred: 3-6 months experience in aviation, customer service, or related fields.
