Your Next Opportunity:

The Project Manager I role is a mid-level position overseeing projects from planning to completion, ensuring client satisfaction through excellent service. You will support senior project managers on multiple small to medium projects or one large project.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and organize projects under the guidance of senior managers.
  • Supervise project activities, assign tasks, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Establish initial client contact, assess scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Prepare detailed project estimates based on plans and specifications.
  • Set project objectives, policies, and performance standards.
  • Supervise change order preparations and negotiations.
  • Monitor construction progress, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage change quotations and negotiate with clients.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports.
  • Oversee financial aspects like billing and expenses.
  • Review documentation prepared by assistant project managers.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Strong performance management skills.
  • Extensive safety knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Accubid and Oracle preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, team-oriented.
  • Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.

What You Bring to Us:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of project management experience in construction.
  • Relevant training, education, and work experience.

Travel:

  • Up to 25% travel required.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily indoor work with varying environmental conditions.
  • Noise level: low to medium.
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
