Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned projects in accordance with contract and corporate requirements supporting the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work is performed in a high OPTEMPO environment receiving, collecting, and analyzing data via radio communications, pertaining to U.S. Army maneuver operations.
  • Effectively input data and reports into assigned computer systems in a timely manner, ensuring that all data points are addressed and accurate.
  • Receive and collect data and format using MS PowerPoint and other multimedia applications to facilitate a learning objective.
  • Communicate effectively over radio using proper military communication procedures.
  • Transcribe radio communications into written reports with military-style writing.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of Active Duty or Reserve experience relevant to the position; acceptable non-military experience will be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Must obtain and maintain necessary security access and background checks.
  • Ability to access Ft Johnson and other military facilities, possibly requiring a Real ID.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and general computer skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple activities and meet deadlines.
  • Graduation from Officer Basic, Advance Course, Advance NCO Course, or Battle Staff Course preferred.
  • Adaptability to changes and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Position may require random drug screening.

WORK SCHEDULE

Part-time with flexibility for shift work, extended hours up to 12 hours per shift, and additional hours as needed.

TRAVEL

  • Unaccompanied travel within the continental US and abroad.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting for long periods, manual manipulation of keyboard and mouse, visual acuity, and color discrimination. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily office setting with potential for long hours based on project needs.
