We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Operations Team working on Data Center, Vehicle Manufacturing, or General Build Construction projects. The role involves planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large projects. Responsibilities include participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing. You will also develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and control documents in the Prolog database, manage material status reports, process requests for information, and oversee meeting minutes.

Location

You can be located anywhere in the US, provided you are willing to travel long-term to client projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Execution: Ensure engineering activities comply with requirements and support construction schedules. Provide technical support, participate in planning, interpret designs, resolve conflicts, and develop procedures.
  2. Resource Management: Manage project engineering personnel, subcontractors, and coordinate with onsite departments to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
  3. Risk Management: Represent the company in meetings with A/E, clients, and project management.
  4. Technical Support: Serve as the key technical person, potentially managing small to medium projects.

Qualifications

  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • At least 3 years of similar construction engineering experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Technical knowledge of construction, procurement, project controls, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
