Summary
This position sets department objectives, including building and maintaining a strong team, creating processes, communicating effectively, supporting, and helping the team deliver clear objectives. It provides strong project management focus for designing and constructing transmission, sub-transmission, substation, distribution, and switchyard facilities, as well as other electrical or non-electrical projects as required by Chugach. Implements project management tools and techniques to deliver projects.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role supervises Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, and Site Engineers, and directs other personnel as needed.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based, with field visits in varying weather conditions, including flights and out-of-town trips. Subject to 24-hour call-out.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical preferred), with additional training or registration in Alaska preferred. Master's degree or PMP certification is desirable.
Experience: At least 5 years of engineering design or construction experience, including 3 years in supervisory and project management roles. Experience with high voltage cables and in a union environment is preferred.
Additional Information: Knowledge of foundations, structures, and coordination with internal and external teams is required.
