Base pay range

$62,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Job Summary:

This position reports to the General Manager. It is for a Manager on Duty overseeing package sortation, including sorting by zip code, palletizing, and managing loading onto trucks for delivery. The operation runs in the evening to early morning, 5 days a week, with occasional weekend work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shift leadership and overseeing sortation process
  • Manage subcontracted ramp operations
  • Train team members and ensure compliance with TSA and safety standards
  • Manage mis-sorts, damaged packages, and reporting
  • Manage loading of pallets onto trucks
  • Develop team members for progression
  • Ensure security and customer information compliance
  • Maintain punctuality and professional appearance
  • Demonstrate customer service and comply with laws and policies

Qualifications:

  • Customer-oriented, friendly, professional disposition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage people
  • Strong management, organizational, communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and work cooperatively in teams
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Background check for badging

Physical Requirements:

Routine walking, standing, bending; lifting less than 50 lbs; team lift for heavier items.
