Airswift is looking for a Field Project Engineer to work in Anchorage, AK, for an initial 1-year assignment likely to be extended on a 14/14 rotation.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Field Project Engineer will be part of the Commissioning and Start up (CSU) team reporting to the Commissioning Manager supporting the execution scope in the CSU of the Drilling Pad, Central Processing Facility, Tie-in Pads, and Seawater Treatment Plant.
The purpose of this position in to provide engineering support to the Integrated Commissioning and Start up (ICSU) team and coordinate field contractors/vendors. The role will interface closely with Santos Construction and Operations teams.
The role will assist satisfy site technical queries, liaise with and manage the performance of contractors during site execution, carry out commissioning plan/procedure reviews, support and facilitate commissioning and handover activities, and actively remove roadblocks to execution and drive improvement in execution outcomes.
This role is vital to ensure the technical and execution aspects of the project receive the right engineering support required. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a state-of the-art facility and shape its operational success.

Delivers a project safety culture and acts as an icon towards HSE excellence. e.g. takes personal role in leading project site safety audits. Continuously monitor and assess project risks developing and implementing mitigations as appropriate following the risk management process.
