Job Description

Opti Staffing Group is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for a respected electrical contracting company in Anchorage. The role involves leading projects in commercial, industrial, and design-build sectors, from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Provide technical support to project teams
• Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies
• Ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local codes
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Requirements:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• PE License in Alaska or ability to obtain
• 7+ years of electrical design experience, preferably in commercial/industrial sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical software
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $100,000 – $120,000+ DOE
