Pegasus Aviation Services is looking for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to work in Anchorage, AK. Pegasus Aviation Services performs high-quality aircraft maintenance on various transport category aircraft. AMTs must possess a valid FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician license. Experience on aircraft such as B-777, B-747, B-737, B-767, and Airbus 319/320/321 is a plus, but all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft transit inspections and fault resolution.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Remove and replace defective parts, including final operational checks.
  • Operate necessary power tools and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Operate ground handling equipment.
  • Support safety policies and programs.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and appearance.
  • Be reliable and dependable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician license with Airframe and/or Power Plant rating.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Willing to work in various weather conditions.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Able to work under stress and tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Pass background checks, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and drug tests.

Language Skills

  • Ability to interpret safety and maintenance documents.
  • Write reports and correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.

Reasoning Abilities

Apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.

Physical Demands

  • Lift, carry, push, and pull 30-50 lbs unassisted.
  • Visual and auditory acuity, including color and depth perception.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Work at heights up to 100 feet using lifts and ladders.
  • Operate vehicles and heavy airport equipment.
