Job Description
Join our team of dedicated professionals at Coffman Engineers. We are seeking a Corrosion Control Engineer with at least five years of experience for our Anchorage office. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and experience in team collaboration, growth, and excellence.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assisting with internal and external corrosion evaluations and monitoring
  • Conducting atmospheric corrosion control inspections
  • Preparing and reviewing API 570 & 653 inspection reports for technical accuracy
  • Calculating in accordance with API standards
  • Performing cathodic protection surveys and preparing reports
  • Designing cathodic protection systems, including drawings and specifications
  • Overseeing system installations
  • Performing site walk-downs and preparing as-built drawings

Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering from an accredited institution
  • API 570 or 653 certification preferred
  • NACE CP2 or higher preferred
  • Experience in oil & gas, DOD, or water/wastewater corrosion control
  • Willingness to travel, perform fieldwork, and work overtime
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • TWIC eligibility
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
  • Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills
