Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Production Cook to lead our high-volume meal program in downtown Anchorage. This full-time position offers $23.00 per hour, with potential pay increases based on attendance and performance. Our operation runs 7 days a week, typically from 8 am to 5 pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, cook, and package food in quantities according to menu and number of people to be served.
• Assist in food ordering and daily food logs.
• Direct and train shift workers.
• Ensure food safety, a safe workplace, and a positive team atmosphere.
• Comply with all regulations and company policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise up to 7 associates, including training, work assignment, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of experience in food production, sanitation procedures, inventory, and weekly food ordering processes required.
• ServSafe certification required. Municipality food workers card required.
• Valid Drivers' License and clean driving record may be required.
• First Aid Certification may be required.
• CPR Certification may be required.
